Tonic Recipe:

Makes 48 oz- one 32oz jar to store and one 16 oz cup to drink right away.

Instructions:

  1. Small pot fill with water- 48 oz or 3/4 of the way full.

  2. In a nut milk bag place fruit and ginger, close and then add to water

  3. Bring water to a boil then keep it on a low rolling boil till fruit is soft enough to squish with a spoon (20-30 min)

  4. Squish the bag sporadically with a spoon as it heats to release juices and enhance flavor

  5. After 20/30 min remove squished bag of fruit and ginger - fruit should be mush

  6. Add honey to jar of choice and chili flake

  7. Using a funnel or your ability to pour into a jar transfer tonic to jar

  8. Shake or stir to fully incorporate the honey/chili to the tonic

  9. Serve hot or cold**If you like it’s and are of age this tonic is great with alcohol of choice
